Files you paste or upload

Sitemaps, CSVs and robots.txt files you paste or upload are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to our server.

URLs you ask us to fetch

When you use “Fetch URL”, the sitemap finder or the crawl, our server requests those public addresses for you (browsers cannot fetch other sites directly) and passes the response back. We do not store the responses. Our fetcher identifies itself as SiteMapperProBot, obeys robots.txt when crawling, stays on the host you entered and refuses private or internal network addresses. Requests are rate-limited per visitor.

AI notes

If you click an AI button, a short text summary of your results (counts, findings, sample URLs, or the robots.txt text) is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to a language model to write the notes. Nothing is sent unless you click, and we do not keep the text.

Stored in your browser

We use localStorage to remember your recently mapped and checked URLs, and the one sitemap snapshot you can save on the compare page. It never leaves your device.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views.
